Westwind Weekly News sold to Alta Newspaper Group

July 23, 2010 Duane and Carma Thomson announced the sale of their paper, the Westwind Weekly News. New owners, the Alta Newspaper Group, with group publisher Coleen Campbell, run the Taber Times, Vauxhall Advance, Bow Island Commentator and the Coaldale Sunny South News.
The Westwind Weekly News distributes in the area of Raymond, Magrath and Stirling.
