Hay River Hub sold to Northern News

The Hub, Hay River’s newspaper of record, has been sold to Mike Scott and Northern News Services Ltd. of Yellowknife effective Sept. 30. Northern News Services publishes other AWNA member newspapers including the Yellowknifer, the Deh Cho Drum and the Inuvik Drum.
Hub publisher Chris Brodeur bought The Hub in May 1975. The sale to Northern News follows roughly two years of talks and negotiations.
