The AWNA is planning Market Area Meetings to discuss proposed changes to association services that we believe will serve you better.

The main reason for these area meetings is to offer members the opportunity to express their opinions and concerns about association programs in a smaller, less formal setting.

As you may know, we are in the midst of ‘testing’ a retail rate with clients that qualify. We are also examining a more streamlined colour rate for both national and retail customers, to take advantage of a higher degree of interest in buying colour. In addition, we’re looking at a new ‘2 X 2’ advertising program to help replace declining classifieds and provide members with new ad revenue as well.

A member of the board will be calling (or has called) to invite you to the nearest Market Area Meeting in your area.

Meetings start at 10:30, wrap upĀ  by 2 pm and will include lunch. The dates and locations are:

May 19, Red Deer, Black Knight Inn

May 26, St. Albert, Vintage Casino

June 2, Lloydminster, Lloydminster Exhibition Association

June 3, High River, Heritage Inn

June 9, Grande Prairie, Quality Inn
