AWNA’s Annual Newspaper Symposium

The AWNA is pleased to announce that the 2016 Newspaper Symposium will be held at the Delta Edmonton South. Dates are from Friday, January 29 to Saturday, January 30.

The hotel has extended a guestroom rate of $137.00 plus applicable taxes.

The symposium committee will be meeting shortly to discuss the sessions that will be offered.

ATCO Photographic awards

ATCO Gas/ ATCO Electric have confirmed its continued participation in the photo awards. Greg Fulmes, SAIT, will judge the entries, as in previous years.

An entry form, outlining details, will be sent out toward the end of October.

Fire Prevention Week awards

Ross Bennett, Fire Rescue Officer, has confirmed that the Fire Commissioner’s Office will participate and that information will be sent out shortly.

The AWNA encourages participation in both the ATCO Photographic and Fire Prevention week awards.
