Jack “Sig” Sigvaldason has passed away

It is sad news to share that Jack “Sig” Sigvaldason, the Northern News Services founder (March 1972)  passed away last Thursday. Recipient of the 2012 Bill Draayer award among other journalism honours and awards, his company includes the AWNA members The Yellowknifer, Inuvik Drum, and Hay River Hub.
