AdCanada Media transition update
As previously noted, AWNA will be transitioning the advertising sales and booking’s over to AdCanada Media Inc. effective January 1, 2020.
The last week of insertions booked by the AWNA will be for the week of December 29 – January 4; after that point everything will be moved over to the AdCanada booking system and you will see your insertion orders and material sent through them. AWNA Advertising and Client Services Supervisor, Allana Bridgewater, continues to be responsible for the execution of ad campaigns in a similar role with AdCanada and will partner with AdCanada’s Greg Foster and Jeff Beardsworth to deliver newspaper research and advertising placement services.
Allana and AdCanada will be working hard throughout December to make sure the AdCanada systems are updated with all the appropriate newspaper and advertiser contact information in efforts to make this transition as seamless as possible for everyone.
Tanis Hutchinson with AdCanada will be sending out information to each of our member newspapers regarding how you will be accessing your booking material from their system in the coming weeks. If you have any questions in the meantime, please don’t hesitate in reaching out to AWNA or AdCanada as we want to ensure you are all as comfortable as possible during the transition period.
You will continue to upload your PDF pages to the awsom.ca ftp site just as you are now, there will be no changes to naming structure. The AWNA’s system will auto-forward your tearsheets to their system (as well as maintain your offsite archive, and supply pages to clipping services as before)
