The celebrations begin for National Newspaper Week, running from Sunday October 6 to Saturday October 12.  News Media Canada has once again developed a national ad campaign and is providing ad material to newspapers across the country so we can collectively send a strong message that ‘Newspapers Matter’.
Last year almost 400 community and daily newspapers across the country ran the national ad campaign in print and digital format.  The ad program was supported by a social media campaign that generated 400 social media posts with a reach of 13 million over the course of the week.
