Possible Scam Ad

An email from Amanda Crawford has been circulating around to some of the Associations. Basically, the ad reads…. “We are currently seeking to employ individual and professional drivers ready to go about their usual activities with a small advert for our start up art gallery plastered on their car/truck. Pay is $400 weekly. If interested, send an e-mail to amandaundcrawford@gmail.com”

The phone number provided to the AWNA was 850-296-2049 with a St. Albert address. Speaking to my counterpart in the MCNA, they provided her with the same phone number, however, the address is a Winnipeg address. The 850 prefix is found in the state of Florida. So things just don’t match up very well.

If the Associations decline the ad, they may start reaching out to individual newspapers. Just proceed with caution.
