In Dec 2019 the AWNA undertook a survey, conducted by Totum Research,
to understand the news involvement and advertising preferences of Albertans living out of the major cities of the province. Results confirm advertising effectiveness increases in trusted environments making local printed newspapers an impactful way to drive action among consumers.
