Webinars scheduled next week for your sales teams

As you may be aware, earlier this year the AWNA was successful in landing a grant from AB Government’s Civil Societies Fund program for a Media Usage Study.

That study, ‘How Geography Impacts Media Access, Usage and Engagement’, was designed and administered by Totum Research Inc. with fieldwork conducted throughout July and August.  The foundation of the study is built upon markets of similar sizes having similar characteristics.  With random samples taken from communities of various sizes across Alberta, the study delivers statistically viable research aggregated for and applicable to, four distinct community types:

  1. Farms
  2. Small Towns/Villages: <10,000 population
  3. Large Towns/Small Cities: 10,000-50,000 population
  4. Medium Cities: 50,000-100,000 population

The results are now available and we’d like to invite you and/or your staff to attend one of the webinars below so that we can share them with you.  The webinars will be hosted by Jeff Beardsworth of AdCanada Media Inc.

Small Towns/Villages – Tue., Nov. 2, 1-2:30 pm
Large Towns/Villages – Wed., Nov. 3, 1-2:30 pm
Medium Cities – Thursday, Nov. 4, 1 – 2:30 pm

Jeff will outline the study architecture, the results of the study and how they compare to previous studies/other studies conducted on behalf of the newspaper industry.  He will also explain to publishers and/or sales teams how to use the results as well as outline the support materials that will be available.

Please RSVP to Vanessa Chastko vanessac@adcanadamedia.ca
with the names and email addresses of the participants that you would like to register.  Vanessa will follow up by sending out the link and instructions to join the webinar.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
