Postmedia to close Edson, Hinton and Lacombe newspapers
Postmedia has announced that it will close the Edson Leader, Hinton Parklander and Lacombe Globe newspapers.
The sluggish economy has been particularly hard on the company’s Alberta titles, said Craig Barnard, Senior Vice President, leaving them with few options.
Edson and Hinton’s last editions will be published on January 13th, with the Lacombe Globe signing off next Thursday, January 16th.
