OCNA seeks judges for its BNC Awards
The Ontario Community Newspapers Association (OCNA) is currently looking for judges for the 2020 BNC Awards.
There are both General Excellence and Premier categories available (listed below).
The judging begins early December, with a deadline of January 15th.

General Excellence – entries this year could be either hard copies or pdf, so you will receive a mixture of both to judge.
There are three judges per category. After all judging results are received, we will have a conference call to discuss the final results.
Class 1: Circ 1,999 and under – 11 entries (8 hard copies, 3 pdf copies)
Class 2/3: Circ 2,000 – 6,499 – 7 entries (3 hard copies, 4 pdf copies)
Class 4: Circ 6,500 – 12,499 – 15 entries (3 hard copies, 12 pdf copies)
Class 5: Circ 12,500 – 22,499 – 10 entries (3 hard copies, 7 pdf copies)
Class 6: Circ 22,500 – 44,999 – 18 entries (2 hard copies, 15 pdf copies)
Class 7: Circ 45,000 and over – 12 entries (1 hard copies, 11 pdf copies)
Premier Categories – judging is completed through our online contest portal by viewing pdfs or urls of entries. One judge per category
