Starting Apr. 28, RhPAP “Rural Health Beat” articles will be distributed to Alberta weeklies for publication free of charge

In response to popular demand, Alberta’s weekly newspapers will soon have free regular access to articles on health-care heroes and innovation in rural Alberta.

Starting Wednesday, Apr. 28, the Rural Health Professions Action Plan (RhPAP) will begin distributing articles from its “Rural Health Beat” newsletter and other RhPAP publications through the AWNA press release service.

AWNA members will have access to a variety of articles each month, featuring the people and organizations in rural Alberta communities who keep health care close to home.  Member papers will be free to publish these articles and associated artwork at no cost, with only attribution to the content creator and RhPAP being required.

In addition to appearing on the members-only site, articles will be included in the AWNA’s online digital newsletter to members, and the AWNA member Facebook page.
