Ed and Wanda Cowley announce sale of Redwater Review/Morinville Free Press

Wanda and Ed Cowley have announced the sale of The Redwater Review and The Morinville Free Press to Valerie Winger, publisher of The Press in Whitecourt. 

Cowley will continue to publish The Free Press and The Review until the end of 2021 with Valerie Winger purchasing and continuing to publish both as of Jan. 1, 2022. An experienced independent Alberta publisher, Winger has published The Press in Whitecourt for the last decade.

Her intent is to produce both The Free Press and The Review newspapers serving the same communities, using the same newspaper distribution patterns. Publishing will continue to be based from the existing Review office in Redwater.
