AWSOM Pro – We Are Changing!

Welcome to AWSOM Pro. The next evolution of community newspaper digital archiving in Canada. Featuring new tools, faster processing, easier usage and improved management these are just some of the advantages waiting to be explored. Over the next few weeks we will be completing the transition from using an outside supplier to a fully internally managed and developed project.

Why are we doing this?

• Manage growing operational expenses
• Reduce the time for your pages to be searchable and viewable online
• Improve the current services and features for minimal investment
• Create new services and products from existing content
• Generate new revenue directly to the content owners

What is AWSOM no longer doing?

• Continuing to use third-party suppliers to provide archive services
• Managing the eCommerce function of the archive and subscriptions
  • There are several options that will allow you to keep ALL of the revenue now

What is AWSOM continuing to do?

• Provide upload and management of high resolution PDFs
• Hosting and support for a searchable Digital Archive of your PDFs
• Hosting and support for subscriptions
• Providing direction and leadership for enhanced eSubscription service
• Providing eTears services to AWNA, and other association’s, advertisers
• Ongoing development of current/new revenue, search and management services
• Supporting the ongoing operation of the AWSOM Digital Archive for all participating community newspapers in Canada.
