Slave Lake AWNA member newspapers
This past week Central Office has been in contact with the publishers of the Slave Lake Lakeside Leader and the Slave Lake Scope. Each paper is working out of a satellite office at this time, the Leader in High Prairie and the Scope from their Edmonton shop. We’ve heard from the Leader that they have seen the roof of their building still standing but had no clue of the heat damage.
As the community newspapers, they each have a significant role to help with the healing, report on the rebuilding and chronicle this historical event. To assist and support these two members in these trying times, the AWNA has purchased a full page ad in their next available issues.
