Government Relations Committee to review MGA

The Government Relations Committee will be undertaking a review of the
MGA, as it pertains to advertising requirements. There have been some
concerns expressed by members that advertising in Community Newspapers
could be threatened during the upcoming review of the Municipal
Government Act and we will preparing input for the Minister to be
considered during the review process.  As a first step the committee
will be developing material for a Public Notice ad campaign for member
papers to use.
