Cochrane Eagle accepted as AWNA’s 125th member
The AWNA Board has approved a membership application from the Cochrane Eagle, bringing the total membership in the association to 125.
Since 2001, the Eagle (part of the Great West Newspaper family since 2012) has covered the town of Cochrane. It reaches the rural areas west of Calgary from Bragg Creek in the south, to Cremona in the north, and to the Stoney Nakoda First Nation in the west. It emphasizes strong photography and local content. The newspaper is published on Wednesdays, and currently distributes 12,540 copies.
