Suzanne Raitt passes away

It is with great sadness we announce the passing on May 12th of Suzanne Raitt, Sr. Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of the Canadian Newspaper Association.

Suzanne, who was just 49 years old, waged a fierce fight against cancer with the support of her many friends, coworkers and family.

She attended several AWNA conventions and consistently presented the strengths of our newspaper medium with a great deal of passion.

Suzanne held three degrees from Western University culminating in an MBA. She leaves behind her husband Michael and sons Matthew and Christopher.

Visitation and service was held at St. Olave’s Anglican Church, 360 Windermere Avenue, Toronto on Tuesday, May 19, 2015. The family requests that donations be made in lieu of flowers to the charity of your choice that will find a cure for cancer. Online condolences may be sent through www.turnerporter.ca.
