Member News: Credit Suspended for M2 Universal Communications

We have recently suspended credit with the agency M2 Universal, which represents accounts such as; GM, Pontiac, Sony, Blockbuster, Epcor, and Royal Bank.  What this means is, we will not be placing ads on their behalf, without pre-payment.

While we have always kept a watchful eye on this account, it has fallen delinquent and communication from them has been almost non-existent within the last few months.  After repeated attempts to contact both accounting and media personnel, to develop a payment plan, to date we have been unsuccessful in confirming when the past due balances will be cleared.  This appears to be an issue with the agency themselves and not a specific advertiser.  We are confident all amounts are collectible and this will be resolved soon; however, in the meantime we have not placed 2 weeks worth of advertising as a result.  These steps have been taken to safeguard members assets and so should any member be approached by M2 for direct booking, extreme caution is advised.

We continue to make all attempts to work with this agency in re-establishing credit in the future.
