Elections Alberta orders: critical placement instructions

The Elections Alberta orders have been sent out (19035DE0, 19041DE1) and the Polling Location ads start running next week. It is critical that placement instructions are followed exactly, as mistakes will not be accepted. Any ads that run do not run in the correct position/order can not be paid for.

If your newspaper is running more than one ad, they must be laid out in order as outlined on the caption.

• • Please group all of the full page Elections Alberta ads together
  • Run ads as far forward in the newspaper as possible
  • Ads must start on the left-hand page and run on consecutive pages in order of the AD# listed on the caption

Example:

19035_ED62-POLL_AD1_xxx = PAGE 1 (LEFT-HAND SIDE)
19035_ED62-POLL_AD2_xxx = PAGE 2
19035_ED62-POLL_AD3_xxx = PAGE 3
19035_ED62-POLL75_AD1_xxx = PAGE 4
19035_ED62-POLL75_AD2_xxx = PAGE 5

Please note that the timing on creative being uploaded for retrieval on AWSOM will more than likely not be far in advance of your newspaper’s listed material deadlines. The client has promised they will strive to have the creative to us as early as possible and will advise us if they run into any issues. We will have the creative posted as quickly as possible once it is received.
