Member News: The AWNA Purchases Office Condo
President George Brown and the AWNA board of directors are pleased to announce that the paperwork has been finalized to purchase our office condo in south Edmonton.
We now have the keys to the building at 3228 Parsons Road and we are leasing the property back to the former owners until they have completed building a new office for themselves. AWNA staff should be ready to move into the new office early in the new year. when our lease in our current office expires.
The AWNA should see a reduction in its operating expenses as the monthly mortgage costs on the $1.142 million office will be less than the cost to continue to lease the current space. There will be more room for staff and AdWest will be given the opportunity to be a tenant in the new office.
“This is an exciting step in the growth of the AWNA,” said Brown. “We look forward to seeing the association move into its own building and continuing to growth with our industry.”
