Red Deer Express purchased by Black Press

Announced in the Red Deer Advocate, June 30, 2010, Black Press has acquired the AWNA member paper Red Deer Express from Great West Newspapers LP.  Also effective the same day, Black Press sold the AWNA member  Rocky Mountain Outlook (Canmore/Banff) to Great West Newspapers

Express publisher Graham Schofield will remain with Great West Newspapers, Fred Gorman to act as publisher of the Express until a replacement can be found.
