Chrissie Hamblin achieves Certified Association Executive (CAE) designation
Congratulations to AWNA Controller Chrissie Hamblin, who received the news this week that she has successfully completed the four-year not-for-profit management program.
Chrissie has earned the certified association executive (CAE) designation. The CAE program is built on 44 competencies that describe the skills essential for efficient and effective not-for-profit management. It consists of five online courses and an online certification exam. The course list includes leadership, change, strategy and structure, membership services, operations (I and II) and developments in association management.
The CAE program is the only comprehensive not-for-profit educational program in Canada that leads to a professional designation. It has been offered since 1972 by CSAE (the Canadian Society of Association Executives).
