More member pages on the move


You may have noticed a new menu item in the navigation bar of the KUTD web site. After bringing over the File Library a few months back, more member services pages are migrating here as well.  Still more to move over, but we’ve made the start.

This most recent change signals that we’ve successfully changed servers, giving us control over our own site with malware checks, automatic backups, and software updates, as provided by a new hosting service, and at a lower cost.

The goal of moving member services & info over here to KUTD.awna.com  is to simplify the client side of awna.com, the primary directive for its redesign, but we’re counting on some side benefits:

  • the KUTD posts and the press releases will be in the same place as rest of membership info, instead of on a separate site entirely
  • simpler for you to navigate and locate what you need
  • we can link here from AWSOM as we did with the File Library, making AWSOM even more the “one-stop shop” for members
In a nutshell, we’re cleaning and freshening up the site that the agencies/clients work with,  consolidating the member info, making it more secure, and reducing our costs.

The Members Only menu page lists the parts of the site that you will have to log in to access, and its the SAME username password as it is on the regular web site, so no one has to remember anything new.
