Walter Nagel retires
We’ve learned that Walter Nagel, long-time supporter of the AWNA Symposium has retired from SAIT. Walter presented the Photographic Awards for many years and also judged the Awards of Excellence – Best Feature Column By a Local Writer. At SAIT he was a mentor to many students who have become part of our member newspapers’ staff. The symposium was always well attended by his students, at his encouragement.

Walter. Hope you retirement is a new and exciting time for you. Your dedication to your students, to your craft, and to the newspaper industry will be greatly missed.
