AWNA’s 100th Anniversary Convention, May 28-30, 2020

The association is celebrating its 100th anniversary at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel in Edmonton, May 28 – 30, 2020 and we’d like to invite you to attend. The hotel has extended a guest room rate of $129/night based on a Standard King/ Double. This rate also includes underground parking for one vehicle/per guestroom.

Please mark these dates on your calendar. Invited guests will include Premier Jason Kenney, our Prime Minister and the Alberta cabinet. We are still finalizing some details on speakers; details will be available soon.

The committee is looking into reserving seats in the Legislature for Thursday afternoon, May 28. An opening reception will follow at the hotel later in the evening.

The AGM will begin Friday morning, with lunch to follow. The Bear Pit session is scheduled after the luncheon. The President’s gala will take place Friday evening with a hospitality suite to follow. The BNC awards luncheon featuring the Photo Awards, General Excellence and Awards of Excellence will be held on Saturday.
