AWNA invites Alberta’s regional dailies to form an alliance

AWNA President Mary Kemmis has invited Alberta’s regional daily newspapers to join the association as affiliate members.

Those invited include the Lethbridge Herald, Medicine Hat News, Red Deer Advocate, Grande Prairie Herald Tribune and Fort McMurray Today.

This alliance will be especially important as the association represents newspapers in an upcoming effort to minimize the effect of an EPR program on our industry. 

We also plan to invite the Alberta Magazine Publishers Association to join with us in our advocacy efforts re EPR. Please stay tuned for further developments
