FAQ: Let’s say you have a potential client interested in ordering a blanket classified ad…..

What is AWNA’s deadline for insertion?

The deadline is every Tuesday at 3 pm (unless it’s a long weekend – then it’s Tuesday at 10 am.)

How much is the finder’s fee/commission?

The cost is $269 plus GST for up to 25 words; $8 for each additional word after 25. You can send the ad in here and central office will make up a quote for your client. This amount will be what YOU will collect from your client. After the ad runs then central office will invoice you; this invoice will be reduced to reflect a 35% commission.

May I charge the client less than the quote?

You may offer your client a discount, but the central office’s invoice to you will be based on the full amount (less that 35% finders fee).

Does the client have to pre-pay for the ad?

The client is your customer so you should ask for payment up front if that is your policy. The AWNA will invoice you (not your client) after the ad runs.

Is there a special form or something to use?

There used to be, but at current volumes, its more convenient for both you and us to have you just email us the ad as text to: classifieds@awna.com We’ll enter the text into the booking software, figure out the word count, and get that quote back to you quickly.

We can also help you get that ad booked into the Blanket Classifieds programs in the other provinces too. Deadlines may vary, so let us know when booking so we can help get things rolling for you and your customer.
