Eighteen organizations across Alberta are receiving grants to support and empower survivors of gender-based violence
Alberta’s government is working to ensure the justice system responds effectively to gender-based violence. As part of Alberta’s 10-year strategy to end gender-based violence, $1.36 million in funding has been given to community-based organizations to enhance access to justice and provide survivor-centered services through the Community Pathways to Justice Grant.
“Our government is pleased to support organizations that are making a meaningful impact in the effort to end gender-based violence, an issue that affects individuals, families and communities across the province. We are confident that these grants will empower local programs to deliver vital support and drive lasting change in Alberta.”
