Wildrose confirms attendance at bearpit session

The AWNA has had difficulties securing a commitment from the new Premier and her cabinet to attend the association’s annual ‘bearpit session’ at the conference.

Conference Chair Mario Prusina reached out to his MLA, Derek Fildebrandt, who quickly made arrangements for members of the Wildrose caucus to attend. Thanks, Mario! We are now in the process of confirming which members of the Wildrose’s shadow cabinet will be present. The session takes place at noon on Saturday, June 13th, at the Chateau Lacombe Hotel in Edmonton. We encourage all members to send a staff member to participate in this session. Full convention registration is not required.

We are still holding out hope that Premier Rachel Notley will be able to attend the conference at a different time. We’ll post in the Facebook Group if we have additional news.
